The new house church would be independent of denominational or ecclesiastical control and developed with applied Biblical principles at the rate that God leads in that group. All participation would be voluntary, no soliciting of any kind. The group determines its progress as Biblical principles are applied to all individual and corporate activities.
Development Stages:
- Stage 1 of development includes group Bible Study and Prayer
- Stage 2 Bible Study, Prayer, and Worship
- Stage 3 Bible Study, Prayer, Worship, Communion (The Lords Supper) and Baptism
- All stages are leading to serving God and others Luke 10:27, Matthew 20:25-28
The group would be guided in development by a leader or leaders qualified by character and calling accepted by that particular house church group. Expected initial schedule of service meeting for 1 hour once a week unless the group decides a different schedule.
Advantages of a house churches:
- Can be multicultural-multilingual with at least one of their house church participants fluent in their languages and in English.
- Savings in time and resources as the church comes to you decreasing need to travel and time and expenses.
- Personal attention to specific grouping with particular needs of the group lived out and a family atmosphere.
